Klaserie Wildlife Paradise
I have stayed on many occasions over the past 12 years at Klaserie a true place of sanctuary for Africa's wildlife. The staff,Lee-Anne,Donovan,Liana Jan and all the rest of the great team make sure you get every chance to be amongst the wildlife and to feel as if you are a part of this wilderness experience rather than an observer. It is truly a most magnificent place and my thanks go to Fred and his family for preserving such a fantastic wildlife haven.
I look forward to returning, hopefully on many occasions to be amongst those wonderful pachyderms and in particular the elees.

Un paradiso terrestre ....
A terrestrial paradise…. heaven on earth!!
Mere words do little justice to this magnificent haven. Our group of mostly overseas Italian visitors were incredibly hosted by Fred and Manuela and under the ever constant pampering attention of Don and Lee-Anne between Kitara and Nyeleti. Stupendous! Magnificent! Superb! Stunning! Spectacular! were some of the descriptors expressed by our visitors – words which only start to scratch the surface of that magical nature of the natural setting, the environment, the impressive and excellent facilities, the exceptional game viewing, the 5+ star dinner, high-tea and breakfast hosting, the boma gatherings, the human warmth, friendship and camaraderie. Having been to various other private lodges we can categorically state that it is impossible to replicate the experience which we were able to share with our visitors in any other setting.
Our visitors departed our shores being truly amazed and stunned by the magnanimous hospitality, what they saw and experienced at Klaserie Camps. Long may you, Fred, Manuela, Don and Lee-Anne continue to bring great joy, contentment and happiness to those who appreciate our natural wonders, personal attention and world-class excellence (and not forgetting the superb cuisine!).
With a sincere and heartfelt “Thank you”.
May God bless you all!

Exceeded our wildest expectations
My friend and I had the good fortune to spend 4 nights at Nzumba Camp in April 2015. It was the first safari experience for the both us and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We had incredible luck with all of our game sightings (pride of lions, herd of elephants, a black rhino, a sable, leopards, a cheetah, etc.). And everyone on staff was incredible kind and took great care of us. The food throughout our entire stay was delicious, varied and plentiful...a true foodie's paradise. I truly hope to be able to return in the future!

Dear Lee-Anne & Dono,
I love receiving your newsletter. Every time I read it I relive the wonderful trip we made in June 2013, celebrating our anniversary with our entire family. It was one of the best adventures we have ever had, and your generous hospitality made it very special. We will be back one day. Fondly

A piece of heaven on earth
We've visited Klaserie 6 times since 2011. We lived in South Africa for several years and had the opportunity to visit some of the most famous game reserves in Africa. But there's no place like Klaserie. So private that the only thing between us and the lovely animals was fresh air and the vast beautiful landscape. Unlike other large popular reserves where five vehicles are queuing to see one giraffe, we've had the privilege to privately spend hours watching leopards devour an impala kill, getting up close to a fresh carcass left behind by a pride of lions and a rare precious session with a pangolin. A week in Klaserie is like a month long holiday. Where we are pampered with the most thoughtful hospitality, gorgeous food and fascinating game drives. Every trip is special. My favourite lodge is Nzumba, for that waterhole where animals flock to to quench their thirst. But the ultimate luxury stay is at Kitara. For city folks like us who long for the getaway that pampers us and lets us find calm and serenity, Klaserie is a little piece of heaven on earth.

I bring guests to Klaserie Camps often and never get enough of the camps or service... The game viewing is priceless and the hospitality and passion lovingly showered on us from Lee and Don makes this a truly awesome experience everyone should make an effort to spoil themselves with at least once or twice!

Living in Paradise
We stayed in Kitara New Year's of 2011/2012 with a total of 10 people, and absolutely loved it. Nowhere else have I ever felt so welcome and at peace. The service was incredible, the food fantastic, and the game drive experiences unforgettable. If we still lived in South Africa, I'd want to go back every year. I'd also like to add that back then we chose Kitara because the prices were quite reasonable, as compared to some other game lodges we investigated. So for the price, it was an even more incredible experience.

Missing the great experience ever since we landed
We stayed at Nzumba during June 2014 and the experience was great! Jan and Liana were great hosts and made us feel comfortable and at home with amazing animals around us. A little disappointed to see only 2 of the Big 5 but one would never forget the experience. Have been missing the place ever since we left! Hope to visit again someday!

Kitara is a piece of heaven on Earth. The game viewing is spectacular...even from ones beautifully appointed room on the river. As a repeat guest, I am always amazed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Definitely a five star lodge in my book. Ill be returning again in May!
