Wonderful time at Nzumba 6/9-10
The food at Nzumba outshone our other lodges. Werner knows so much about wildlife, plantlife, the stars, etc. Most thrilling part of our experience was seeing a herd of at least 100 elephants of all ages gathered at the water's edge. It looked like one of the cows had 2 tiny calves that might even have been twins (or not). Lovely!

Amazing stay at Nyeleti
We spent part of our honeymoon at Nyeleti on safari with Shaun from Moriti Private Safaris. To say we enjoyed our time as Lee and Don's guests would be a radical understatement. Every aspect of our stay at Nyeleti was sublime, and we were so sad when it finally came time to say goodbye. The hospitality, accommodations, food, and company of everyone at Nyeleti were all among the best we've ever experienced in our travels. We can't wait to stay at Nyeleti on our next safari adventure (which can't come soon enough!) :)
Thank you for everything, and see you soon!

Amazing honeymoon at Nyeleti
We did a private 9 day safari with Moriti Safaris, and are so pleased that our guide took us to Nyeleti, it was by far the best place that we stayed on our whole honeymoon.
The camp is absolutely stunning, so beautiful and relaxing and the accommodation was very clean. The staff were all very friendly and the service was amazing.
Lee-Anne was incredibly helpful with advice on where to go in Johannesburg after our stay at Klaserie, and we really enjoyed the little touches like Lee-Anne and Don welcoming us back from each game drive. We were surprised on our last night by a beautiful candlelit dinner underneath the stars, which was the perfect ending to our stay, albeit not a welcome one as we didn't want to leave!

Our family spent five days at Nzumba earlier this month. We had a fantastic time and this is an experience that we will remember forever.
The camp is gorgeous, the chalets are beautifully decorated and offer more comfort than we could ever have imagined was possible in such a remote place. The food was spectacular and the entire staff, guided by Rika, did a wonderful job to make our stay memorable.
We would also like to address a very special thank you to our guide, Werner, and to our tracker, Andries, who went out of their way to make sure that we would get the most out of every single ride. When my wife first told me that she had booked a 5-day safari I was a little concerned that we might get a bit bored after a couple of days. Well, I could not have been more wrong and by the time we left, the four of us wished we could have stayed three more weeks at Nzumba. Every ride with Werner felt literally like setting out for a new adventure. We spent nearly 8 hours together every day on the rides only, and we just could not get enough. He is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to the bush and I cannot thank him enough for taking every opportunity to share his knowledge with us. We cannot remember it all but one thing we will not forget is his passion, and his love for the bush which quickly became contagious. We have so many wonderful memories, including some of a few very special moments: going off track in the middle of the bush to spot a herd of buffalos, chase a leopard, or stepping off the Defender to get a close-up of a rhino… Credit to Andries for his exceptional tracking and spotting skills: getting a sighting of a chameleon, at night, 50 meters away from our car with just a floodlight completely cracked me up!
When we got back home, our daughters got us a glass jar which they decided to use to start saving so we may return to Nzumba on another vacation, and we are very seriously thinking about it.
Thanks again for an exceptional experience!

What A Stay!
Where to begin...Our stay at Kitara was superb and nothing short of 5 star! We felt spoiled the entire time we were there. The facilities, room are outstanding and the views from the pool into the bushveld something to behold.
The food was excellent and we dined like there was no tomorrow from brunch to high tea and then onto dinner. Delicious and plentiful.
The morning and late afternoon game drives were relaxing. The knowledge that was imparted about the flora and fauna was great and we learned something. A big effort was also made to see game especially the Wild Dogs.
Lee-Anne and Donovan, I can't thank you enough for making this a once in a lifetime experience and for all your help and input into the engagement arrangements. A big thank you to all the other staff that made it possible and so memorable.
We will see you soon again.
Thank you & Much Love

A wonderful stay at Nzumba
We had a truly lovely stay at Nzumba. We loved the open feeling of the reserve (and the uninterrupted sightings, allowing us to spend as much time as we wished watching the wildlife). Stefan's tremendous guiding skills and our wonderful tracker Patrick, meant that we didn't miss anything and they really worked hard to show us everything - from dung beetles rolling their balls of dung, to finding our 120th bird for the trip in the last few moments of our visit. Back at Nzumba, Ash was knowledgeable and welcoming and we had really interesting and informative conversations over dinner. And I haven't even talked about the food - absolutely outstanding - the best meals we had in Africa. The lodge was lovely with great views and a wonderful position overlooking the waterhole - but it is the people who make the trip extra special, and I can't say enough about how brilliant the team were.

I've been visiting South Africa and neighboring countries many times and have seen beautiful locations in Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. When my son asked me to join him and my grandson on their trip to South Africa I was of course more than willing to accept. I contacted my friend Julian Geerts and he suggested Klaserie camps as a fine, extraordinary and beautiful game reserve.
I was quite sure that hardly anything could top my experiences. When we arrived I was overwhelmed by this warm welcome of Werner, Rika and their staff giving us the feeling of coming home after a long absence.
During our stay we not only enjoyed a luxury, yet cosy atmosphere but also exciting game drives, a breathtaking landscape and the caring of a "family"!
There's not much more to say as my son, grandson and the rest of my family are planning to be back next year.
Many thanks to Werner, Rika and their staff for this wonderful time
